Colour Reset works by reversing the colour process. When mixed and applied to the hair Colour Reset shrinks the artificial hair colour molecules back to their original size. Once the hair has been rinsed and buffered, the shrunk colour molecules have been rinsed away from the hair without fear of re-oxidation.

How does Colour Reset work?

Colour Reset reverses the hair colouring process. A permanent hair colour works by depositing small artificial pigment molecules inside the hair. Colour Reset shrinks the artificial colour molecules and washes them from the hair, revealing the lightest, previous shade. This shade may be lighter than the natural colour, as bleach and ammonia from previous colour treatments may have lightened the natural pigment.

Step 1 - Apply & Develop

  • Mix equal amounts of part 1 & part 2 (50ml of each) and apply to dry hair using a tint bowl & brush. Make sure to massage well into the hair.
  • Leave to develop for up to 60 minutes.

Step 2 - Rinse

  • Rinse with warm water for 7 – 10 minutes (time dependant on hair length and texture).

Step 3 - Buffer

  • Apply approx 25ml of part 3 & lather (similar to a shampoo) & leave for 5 minutes. Comb through to ensure even saturation and distribution.
  • Rinse again with warm water for 7-10 minutes. Towel dry. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
