With 60 stores and a growing ecommerce website, we sell top range brands such as Olaplex, L’Oreal, Redken, Schwarzkopf, OPI, Sienna X, Babyliss and many more, for professionals in the industry.

The role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Warehouse Manager in our Limerick Warehouse.   

Working as part of a friendly, dynamic team, you’ll be providing assistance and support to the Store Manager in the supervision of people, processes and systems within the Warehouse to ensure the effective and efficient running of the operation, delivering the highest standards of customer service.

A normal day will also be taken up with:

  • supervising the unloading and loading of deliveries;
  • co-ordinating inbound and outbound deliveries;
  • inducting and training new staff in the warehouse to ensure competence in the Warehouse Management System (OrderWise);
  • allocating responsibilities to each member of the team;
  • supervising workload and encouraging teamwork within the team;
  • ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times and that safe working practices are consistently adhered to;
  • recommending measures to processes and software systems to improve quality of service, increase efficiency of department and team.
  • Operating and maintenance of fork lift truck
  • providing supervisory support to the Store Manager in other areas of the warehouse operation as required.

 

We also expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of work in the office, if required, so flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities for you to succeed, enjoy your working day and develop.

 

Who are you?

You are looking for your next career move & challenging opportunity in warehouse management who will have:

  • experience within a similar role;
  • intermediate to advanced level of IT skills – using our WMS system to prioritise workload in the warehouse;
  • a high level of attention to detail and a drive to ‘do things right’;
  • excellent organisational & problem-solving skills;
  • experience with managing or supervising a team
