Recreate this Mother's Day floral nail design using Gellux
Gellux nail technician Julie-Anne Larivière has been test driving Salon System’s new Gellux In The Buff collection - 6 nude polishes which are bang on trend this Spring/Summer. She's created this beautiful, floral signature nail design which is ideal to offer your clients this Mother’s Day.
Step by step:
- Prepare nail and clean with Gellux Prep + Wipe, and apply Gellux Fast Bond and allow to dry for 60 seconds.
- Apply Gellux Easy Off Base Coat, then cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Apply Gellux In The Buff Birthday Suit, then cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Apply a second coat of Gellux In The Buff Birthday Suit and cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Using a dotting tool dipped in Gellux Purely White, place a dot in the centre of each ring fingernail and cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Using a fine nail art brush dipped in Gellux Purely White, paint the petals around the dot and cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Dip a very small dotting tool in a little Gellux Tropical Pink and add dots at the top of each petal and cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Repeat step 7, this time using Gellux Raspberry Mojito for the dots, and cure, 30 seconds with LED, 2 minutes UV.
- Apply Gellux Shiny Top Coat to every nail and cure, 60 seconds LED, 3 minutes UV.
- Wipe off the sticky layer with Gellux Prep + Wipe and apply Naillux Cuticle Cream to moisturise the skin around the nails.
