If you’re an Instagram addict then there’s no doubt you’ve already seen a spot of hair piercing amongst your favourite feeds.
Just like those fake septum rings that all the celebs are wearing, hair piercing is a pain-free way to take on the latest trend for piercing just about anything. It’s tough to put a time on when this new take on a trend that has been around for decades in the Afro/natural hair community, first went mainstream, but we’d like to say that hairdresser Chris Appleton was the one who first exploited it, back in May. Back then Chris was working on Christina Aguilera’s hair, for the American version of hit TV show, The Voice, so he was constantly on the look-out for new ways to play with the singer’s hair.
Fast forward a couple of months and Chris introduced hair piercing to the likes of Kim Kardashian and actress Shay Mitchell, to hugely positive feedback.
Here in the UK, Keash Braids are churning out braided styles, with and without piercing. As well as tiny hoop rings, the Keash duo add small pieces of jewellery, charms and studs to their creations, and their appointments are filling up fast!
The great thing about this trend is that you can go as far as you like; clients who love to add braided accents to their undercuts or layers can add all manner of embellishment, and thanks to the texture that braids give, the adornment will last several days. It’s also a great trend to play with if you’re planning a collection shoot.

When you shop on this site or in one of our stores, personal information such as your name, email

number, which helps us (and courier companies working on our behalf) to

We also use CCTV in our stores for the security of our employees and customers.
How will we process data?
Personal data collected is used in the processing and delivering of orders.
Names, email addresses, mobile numbers, postal addresses and business type
may also be used to send you marketing communications (if you have opted in
to receive them). You can opt out of these at any time by visiting ‘my
preferences’ in your online account.
Browsing behaviour data is collected and analysed to see how well our
website is performing on a variety of electronic devices and internet
browsers.
We also use this data for remarketing in conjunction with Google, which
allows us to display adverts to you on third party websites after you have

Who will process data?

orders), it also helps us to ensure that content on our sites is presented

When will data be processed?
This data will be processed when your order is picked, packed and
dispatched by our distribution centre, or if you enter a competition or
free prize draw. It will also be used every time we send a marketing
communication, if you have opted in and the communication is deemed by us
to be relevant to you.
Any user specific browsing data will be retained for 26 months after you
last visited our site, after which time it will be deleted.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications
To unsubscribe from marketing communications please visit the ‘my account’
section of your online account and select ‘my details and preferences’. You
can then change your opt in preferences for email, text and post.

Right to access your data
